Ideal for lead climbing, it features an integrated wheel that provides extremely smooth rope feeding, allowing the climber to take slack quickly. Its ergonomic handle allows comfortable control during lowering. It is compatible with all single ropes from 8.5 to 11 mm.

Assisted-braking belay device optimized for lead climbing:

• Allows lead climbing and top-rope belaying

• Optimized for lead climbing thanks to the integrated wheel, which provides smooth rope feeding and makes giving slack to the climber faster and easier

• Comfortable belaying with assisted braking: in case of a fall or when the climber rests, the rope tightens, the wheel locks, and the cam pivots to pinch the rope and hold it securely

Ease of Use:

• Easy rope installation thanks to engraved markings on the device

• Belaying gestures consistent with all Petzl devices, based on feeding the rope through the device while always keeping one hand on the brake side

• Assisted braking cam offers high tolerance for hand position on the brake side, regardless of the angle between the climber’s rope and the brake side

• Compatible with all single dynamic ropes from 8.5 to 11 mm, optimized for diameters between 8.9 and 10.5 mm

Descent Control:

• Comfortable grip and easy rope release thanks to the ergonomic handle

• Handle leverage multiplied by 3 for better control on small-diameter ropes and less effort on larger ropes
