In other words, connections where no rope runs through the carabiner.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eIt must not be used where a rope runs through the carabiner\u003c\/strong\u003e: the friction can cause it to open accidentally. Those jobs call for a triple-action auto-locking carabiner.
